Boy, oh, boy! Does Jet
Cities like to work hard and play hard or what?!?
Here are some
photographs from our annual chorus retreats, which usually take
place in January or February.
In addition to some terrific International faculty members,
we
also manage to entertain
ourselves on Saturday night with skits, movies,
and some mighty-fine lip synching.

Could it be? Yes! It's Aretha Franklin and her "girls" singing about getting no R-E-S-P-E-C-T! 2004 The "Phil-sons" sing about their "family affair"; 2004 Mary, Wendy and Joanne do-wop to Blue Moon. 2004 Elvis is in the building!! Heidi does an incredible job of channeling the King. 2004 Elvis' wife, Priscilla, makes an appearance, too! They sure bring in good entertainment for our retreats! 2004 The crowd cracks up as they await the start of our third annual Lip Synch Contest during Saturday night's festivities. 2004 Biker Babes make an appearance at our Saturday night revelries. Could it be...the Pointer Sisters? Rhondi, Meg and Kathy ham it up for the group... ...accompanied by "Piano Man" Cheryl. Heidi and Joanne sing the praises of ice cream. In another stellar appearance, Heidi wows us with her Janis Joplin imitation. Karen and Laurajean ARE the Blues Brothers (Sisters?) at our first lip synch contest. Charlene O'Connor visits a retreat to help with our showmanship skills.
Karen Breidert is another favorite coach and has been to several of our retreats. Karen has crowns with Jubilation (1985) and The Buzz (2005).
